‘Kapus Kondyacho Goshta’ to get screened in Seattle South Asian Film Festival,USA

‘Kapus Kondyachi Goshta’ directed by Mrunalini Bhosale is literally running its dream run in International Film Festival circuit. The movie is getting continuous selections in various reputed International Film Festivals, and the latest addition to this list is their selection in Seattle South Asian Film Festival. The movie will be screened in this highly reputed festival which will be conducted from October 31st- November 09th 2014. 

Kapus Kondyachi Goshta is a real gem of a film, and it has a global dimension which is capable to touch the emotion of anyone who has goodness in mind. The movie portrays the story of four sisters who were compelled to lead a life alone after the death of their parents. The elder sister Jyothi worked hard like an elder male, and finally, she succeeded in bringing back the lost colors in their life. 

Another vital news about the movie is regarding its qualifying screening which will be conducted prior to the Oscar race. The film will be screened in at Laemmle Theatre, New York from 12th September 2014-18th September 2014.

Dulquer Salman is undoubtedly the most popular young actor in the Malayalam Film Industry, and his fan base is slowly surpassing the numbers which his father garnered over a period of 30 years. The think tank behind these movies were none other than Siddique who is now one of the most demanded directors in the Indian Film Industry. The recent news about the duo is regarding a new movie where they will join hands again. The film is titled 'Rascals', and it will be produced by Play House.

The script of 'Rascals' is written by Siddique. The movie is expected to be a comedy entertainer, and it will have all the elements required to satisfy a common movie goer. The movie will go on floors from December 2014, and if everything goes well, the movie will hit the screens on 2015 Vishu. More details about the movie are yet to get finalized.

Fahad Fazil and Nazriya Nazim tied the knot

Fahad Fazil and Nazriya Nazim, the young sensations in Mollywood got married on August 22^nd 2014. The marriage took place in Al Saj Convention Centre, Kazhakkoottam, Thiruvananthapuram, and the event was blessed with some of the most popular figures in the Malayalam Film Industry.

The marriage was conducted in the presence of friends and relatives, and as per reports, more than 4000 people have attended the function. Some of the noted film personalities who attended the event includes, Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salman, Maniyanpilla Raju, Shaji Kailas, Krishnakumar, Ahana Krishna, Jagadish, Nedumudi Venu, and Meera Nandan. After the marriage, the couples addressed the media personalities who were waiting for them.

During the event, Fahad Fazil gifted Nazriya a diamond necklace. The grand party of 70 delicacies were enough and more to fill the minds and stomach of the guests. On August 24^th, a grand reception for the film fraternity will be held at Pathirappally, Alappuzha.

Nazriya is expected to take a break from the industry for a while. Her last movie was Bangalore Days, and she was paired opposite Fahad in that movie.

Dulquer Salman's new film is '100 Days of Love'

Dulquer Salman, the young sensation in Mollywood has recently joined the shooting sets of his new movie which is titled '100 Days of Love'. The movie will mark the debut of Januse Mohammed in the industry and he is the son of veteran director Kamal.

As per reports, Dulquer Salman will do the role of a journalist in the new movie. The film is expected to be a breezy romantic tale, and it will portray a love story which happens over the span of 100 days. The movie will be exclusively shot in Dubai and Bangalore, and it will have Nitya Menon playing the female lead opposite Dulquer. Vineeth, Shekhar Menon, and Aju Varghese also play vital roles in the movie. K V Vijayakumar is producing the movie in the banner of Aishwarya Sneha Movies.

'101 Chodyangal' bags official selection in Harlem International Film Festival

Sidharth Shiva's '101 Chodyangal' has been continuing its dream run in the International Film Festival circuit for the last two years, and the glory is still unending. The latest feather in the throne for this film came as an official selection in the renowned Harlem International Film Festival. The festival is scheduled from September 10th - 14th 2014, and the selection of '101 Chodyangal' raised the honor of Indian Film Industry in front of the global public. 'Children of the Life' which chronicles the life story of Desmond Tutu is the opening film in the festival.

'101 Chodyangal' is undoubtedly a real gem of a film. The movie portrays the journey of a 10 year old boy named Anil Kumar Bokaro. The student will get as assignment to create 101 questions from his real life. In the meantime, his father who is a revolutionary loses his job from the factory. The life of Anil Kumar and his search for 101 questions forms the remaining part of the movie. The lead actors in the movie are Indrajith Sukumaran, Minon, Lena, Murugan and Nishanth Sagar.

In the 60th National Film Awards, India, the movie won prestigious awards like,  Best First Film of a Director and Best Child Artist. '101 Chodyangal' also won Silver Crow Pheasant Award for Best Feature Film at the 18th International Film Festival of Kerala.

Kapus Kondyachi Goshta, the movie directed by Mrunalini Bhosale is slowly making it a habit of winning prestigious awards in all film events. The recent success story about the movie is regarding the award they received in the Maharashtra State Film Awards 2014. This time, the award came in the form of Best Actress, and Samidha Guru, the lead actress in Kapus Kondyachi Goshta won the title by surpassing heavy competition from glorified names in the industry.

Mohanlal to play the lead role in 'Escape to nowhere'

After 'Company', 'Aag' and 'Tezz', Mohanlal is again crossing over to Bollywood, and as per reports, he will play the lead role in a new movie which is titled, 'Escape to nowhere'. The movie will be directed by Sanjay Tripathi, and he has already proved himself as an impeccable filmmaker with his debut movie, 'Club 60'.

Escape to nowhere is the film adaptation of the novel with the same name. The makers of the film have almost confirmed the involvement of Mohanlal in the movie, and this has set a huge wave of happiness among the fans of the actor. Initial reports claims that Mohanlal will play the role of a RAW officer in the movie.

 Mohanlal has earlier essayed the role of a Police Officer in both Company and Tezz. In Aag, he played the role of Inspector Narasimha, an ex cop.  

Apothecary: A must watch psychological drama

Melvilasam, the 2011 courtroom drama directed by Madhav Ramdas was a disaster in the Kerala Box Office. But when the movie got released in DVD, it was opened to highly positive critical acclaim, and it emerged as one of the cult classics in the history of Malayalam Cinema. Now, Madhav Ramdas is again back in action with his new movie, 'Apothecary'. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Jayasurya and Asif Ali in the lead roles, and it hit the theaters on August 7^th 2014. The initial reports about the movie is highly positive, and it is showing evident signs of emerging as an all time classic.

The movie portrays the sick business oriented attitude of healthcare institutions. It also open its eyes against the hand in glove relationship between doctors and drug companies, when it comes to illegal drug testing. Suresh Gopi plays the role of Dr. Vijay Nambiar whereas Jayasurya and Asif portrays the characters of his patients. Abhirami plays the role of Suresh Gopi's wife.

This movie can be considered as a real gem of a film, and in the end, it gives a valuable message. Madhav Ramdas has proved his caliber once again through this movie, and he is amply supported by the technical crew. All the actors have done their performance in an impeccable manner, and special mention should be given to Suresh Gopi and Jayasurya. The last 10 minutes of the movie was an in and out Suresh Gopi show, and these moments takes the movie to a new level.

Altogether, Apothecary is not a movie that should be missed on theaters. It is an absolute epitome of psychological drama film making, and you should watch it on theaters.
