Huma Qureshi to act with Mammootty

Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi,  makes her malluwood debut with Super star Mammootty in ‘White’.  The film completely shot in London is reported to be an entertainer by Udai Ananthan who associated Renjith in his roaring hit ‘ Pranjiyettan and the Saint’ Rahul Raj tunes for ‘White’ and Udai Anandhan, Nandhini Valsan and Praveen Balakrishnan  together work for the script. Bipin Chandran who has  worked for ‘ Daddy Cool ‘ and ‘ Best Actor’ writes dialogues for the film. Huma Qureshi ‘s recent film ‘Badlapur’ an action thriller by Sriram Raghav was a big success. The lucky face of Bollywood is expected to make a remarkable performance with Mammootty.

DAM999 WINS THE BEST SCREENPLAY AND SPECIAL JURY AWARD AT 8TH KOSOVO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Recognitions seem to galore on DAM999 directed by Sohan Roy the most controversial movie of the year 2011 which also made its place in the Oscar race of 2011. The movie has won Best Screen Play award and special jury award  in the 8th Kosovo International Film Festival. The special jury award is given to the film tackling global issues.With immense praise and appreciations pouring in from various film circuits DAM999 has, no doubt, made a special place in the hearts of people across the world.

Kosovo International Film Festival ‘ The Godess on the Throne’  encouraged  young and experienced film makers from around the globe to compete on a multicultural stage for an opportunity of distribution and nearly 8 awards aiming to get films seen, marketed and ultimately sold. The 5 day film festival was held at Kosovo Railway station from 1-7 June 2015.

DAM999’ in recent times have headed to many film festivals and garnered huge accolades worldwide. It’s array of awards and appreciations includes 5 Oscar selections in 3 categories (original score, original song and best picture), the only official selection from India at the Golden Rooster Award, Award of excellence for the Motion Picture Sound Track and Award of Merit for Original Score by Global Music Awards 2012, Best International Feature Film, Special Jury Award, Best Movie of the Festival at International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture 2013, declared Best English Film at Sangli Film Festival and adjudged as ‘Judges Favorite’ at International Film Festival – Antigua Barbuda.

Vijay Sings for ’ Puli’

After fast number hits like ‘ Google Google’ and ‘ Selfi Pullai’, Ilayadalapati Vijay sings for ‘Puli’  the actor’s upcoming project directed by Simbudevan.

The star recently recorded for the song tuned by Devi Sree Prasad. ‘Puli’ fantacy drama featuring Sruthi Haasan and Hansika as the female leads, also marks the return on Sreedevi to the Tamil film Industry after a couple of decades.

Prathap Pothen as Director for Anjali Menon’s Script

Actor  Pratap K. Pothen  is gearing up to direct a film on Hit Maker Anjali Menon’s Script. It’s after 20 years break  Pratap directs a film. No decisions have been made on Casting and Title. Rajeev Menon associates the film as cinematographer. Pratap Pothen’s next film ‘ Appavum Veenjum’ will be released soon. He also acts in ‘ Kanal’  a project of  Padmakumar - Mohanlal Team.

Anusree Turns to be a Nurse in 'Maheshinte Prathikaram'

Anusree is one of the blessed actresses of the Malayalam movie industry. Her performance as 'Kalamandalam Rajashree' in her debut movie 'Diamond Necklace', itself proves her talent. She paired with Fahadh Faasil in 'Diamond Necklace' directed by Lal Jose. Now they both are joining hands in yet another movie 'Maheshinte Prathikaram', in which she will be seen as a nurse. 

'Maheshinte Prathikaram' is the debut movie of Dilesh Pothan. The movie portrays a village in Idukki district. Fahadh will be seen as a photographer in this movie, specialised in wedding photography. As per reports Shyam Pushkaran will be writing the script and Shyju Khalid will be handling the camera. Details about other cast and crew are not revealed. 

Anusree, who is from a reality show, impressed the audience from the very first movie itself. Her roles in Angry Babies in Love, Ithihasa etc were well acclaimed. Her last release was 'Chandrettan Evideya', which is doing well in theatres. She paired with Dileep in 'Chandrettan Evideya', which is directed by Maheshinte Prathikaram

Nivin to Lead in 'Amar Chitra Gadha'

The upcoming movie of Vinay Govind 'Amar Chitra Gadha' will seeNivin Pauly on lead. This has been officially announced by the director himself on his official facebook page. This is the second movie of Vinay, who have earlier directed the movie 'Kili Poyi'. 'Kili Poyi' released in 2013 saw Asif Ali and Aju Varghese on lead.

'Amar Chithra Gadha' tells the story of three characters Amar, Chitra and Gadha. Nivin will be portraying the role of Amar. The movie team is now in search of Chitra and Gadha. Said to be an entertainer, the script of the movie will be handled by Vivek Ranjith. Apart from Nivin, Aju Vargheseand Saiju Kurup will be having pivotal roles in this movie.

The newgen actor's recent crowd puller movie ' Premam ' is runningsuccessfully at theatres now.
