Suresh Gopi to act in ‘Rudrasimhasanam’

Action King Suresh Gopi is in his path of comeback, and the actor is lined up with some very promising projects. As per reports, Suresh Gopi will be soon acting in a new movie which is titled, ‘Rudrasimhasanam’ which will be directed by Shibu Gangadharan. The movie is scripted by ace novelist Sunil Parameshwaran who penned the acclaimed movie, ‘Ananthabhadram’.

If reports are true, then Suresh Gopi will be playing the role of ‘RudraSimhan’ in this movie. Nikki Galrani will act as the heroine in this film. Other prominent roles will be played by Nedumudi Venu and Sudheer Karamana.

Shibu Gangadharan is not a new name in the Malayalam Film Industry. He has already made his directorial debut through the Mammootty starrer, ‘Praise The Lord’. The movie was a colossal failure, and the young actor aim to make a comeback through this Suresh Gopi film.

Suresh Gopi’s latest release ‘The Dolphins’ is now in theaters and it is receiving rave reviews from all corners. The movie scripted by Anoop Menon is noted for its fine cinematic language and feel. Before joining the sets of Rudrasimhasanam, Suresh Gopi will complete the shooting of ‘My God’ which will be directed by M Mohanan.

Dulquer Salman to act in Rajeev Ravi movie

After ‘Annayum Rasoolum’ and ‘Njan Steve Lopez’, Rajeev Ravi is all set to do his next movie. The movie will have Dulquer Salman in the lead role, and if reports are true, then the script work of the film is already completed. 

Rajeev Ravi is now an impeccable figure in the Malayalam Film Industry. His debut movie ‘Annayum Rasoolum’ alongside Fahad Fazil was a critical and commercial success. The portrayal of a touching love story between Anna and Rasool garnered appreciation from all corners, and this film is widely considered as the perfect epitome of uncompromising cinematic language. 

His second film, ‘Njan Steve Lopez’ was a commercial failure, but it is getting rave reviews from the International Film Festival circuit. Recently, this movie got selection in the much reputed Dubai International Film Festival. 

P Balachandran, renowned actor and writer has written the script of this movie. Dulquer Salman will be seen in a completely different get up in this movie. The movie is expected to hit the screens on mid 2015. 

On the other hand, Dulquer Salman is currently busy with the shooting of his Tamil movie, ‘O K kanmani’ directed by Mani Ratnam. Nitya Menon is doing the role of Dulquer’s heroine in this film. The shooting of the movie is progressing steadily in Mumbai. 

Dolphins flying high in the Kerala Box Office

And finally, Action Super Star Suresh Gopi is back, and he has delivered a solo hit after a hiatus of more than 8 years. His recent release, ‘The Dolphins’ is getting highly positive reviews from all corners, and in all probabilities, the movie will emerge as one of the biggest hits in the career of Suresh. The film hit the theaters on 22nd November, and from then Kerala theaters are witnessing increased pull from the audiences in all shows.

The movie showcases the story of Panayamuttom Sura, a liquor baron with much political and social influence. He wishes to unleash some identity just like Pranhciyettan, and at this juncture the movie begins. He is also afraid of death which may happen to him in the near future, and soon realizes that the involvement of a lady could hinder the mishap. At this juncture, Meghana Raj enters the scene, and this creates a huge turn in the life of Sura.

Mohanlal is in Antarctica

Mohanlal, one of the most acclaimed actors in the Indian Film Industry is also known for his traveling passion. The actor always love to visit new places whenever he gets a chance, and this has finally taken him to the coldest place in the planet, 'Antarctica'. The ace actor along with his family is now on their way to the icy continent.

Mohanlal is updating every development of the journey in his Facebook page. The actor has posted three snaps in his Facebook page which were titled, 'At Buenos Aires', 'Argentina' and 'On my way to Antarctica'. The actor is traveling along with his wife and kids, Pranav and Vismaya.

Mohanlal is currently acting in Sathyan Anthikkadu's new movie alongside Manju Warrier. The film will feature Mohanlal in the role of ajournalist, whereas Manju will portray the character of a family court lawyer. Soon after the completion of this Antarctica trip, Lal will join again in the sets of this movie.

This new Sathyan Anthikkad movie will mark the rejoining of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier after a long hiatus. The duo has earlier acted in Super Hit movies like, 'Summer in Bethlehem', 'Kanmadam' and 'Aaram Thampuran'.

‘Ivide’ to start rolling soon

‘Ivide’, the Shyamaprasad directorial which stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nivin Pauly and Bhavana in lead roles will soon start rolling. If everything goes well, the first schedule of the movie will be shot in December 2014, and the main location will be United States of America.

‘Ivide’ is expected to be a high octane crime thriller, and it will portray a story in the backdrop of US locale. The serial killing of techies based in Atlanta will be discussed in this film. Prithviraj plays the role of aninvestigative officer in this movie.

Ivide is undoubtedly a big budget venture, and it is produced by Dr. S Sajikumar under the banner of Dharmic Film Productions. The movie stars many US actors, and there will be also many overseas technicians behind the camera. Apart from Nivin, Prithvi and Bhavana, Aju Varghesehas been roped to play a pivotal role.

The script of ‘Ivide’ is penned by Ajayan Venugopal, and the cinematography is carried out by Eric Dickson. The film will have a mid 2015 release.

Complaint against nomination of Mohanlal for Padma Bhushan award.

The Palakkad based 'Anti Corruption and Human Rights Council has  lodged a complaint against the nomination of actor Mohanlal for the  Padma Bhushan award. The complaint was given to the Central Home  Secretary. The complainants have put forward the argument that the  state government's decision to nominate Mohanlal was an arbitrary  decision which lacked transparency. They have said that it would give  a wrong message to the society to give such an award to a person who  is an accused in a case under wild life protection act.

Mohanlal was  found to be in possession of ivory when IT raids were conducted at his  house. A copy of the complaint was sent to the Prime Minister and the  President. No mainstream actor alive today has won Padmabhushan  before.

Manju Warrier to join hands with Joshy

Manju Warrier, better called as ‘The Lady Super Star’ in Malayalam Film Industry is going through the most glorious path of her career. The actress who made a grand come back through ‘How Old Are You’ is now lined up with a number of mega projects. She is now busy with the shooting of the Sathyan Anthikkadu directorial, and after the completion of this film, she will soon join the sets of the Joshy project.

This untitled project of the ace director will be written by none other thanRanjan Pramod who has earlier written movies like, ‘Meesha Madhavan’, ‘Randam Bhaavam’ and ‘Manassinakkare’. Joshy is joining hands with Ranjan after ‘Naran’ which was a hit in the Box Office.

Manju Warrier has earlier acted in a Joshy movie in the first phase of her career. It was the mega hit film ‘Pathram’ which starred Action King Suresh Gopi in the lead role. The male lead in the new Joshy movie is yet to get finalized, but in all probabilities, it will be one among the reigning Super Stars in the industry.

Joshy’s last outing ‘Avatharam’ was an average grosser, and he aims to deliver a hit through the Manju Warrier film.

Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram join hands for a mega project?

If reports are true, then you will soon see the legends of Indian Cinema sharing screen space in a new project which is based on ‘Randamoozham’ the renowned book penned by the ace writer M T Vasudevan Nair. The film will star Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. Many reports claim that Telugu Super Star Nagarjuna will be also playing a vital role in this film.

The film will be directed by Sreekumar. He is a well known figure in the ad film industry, and have directed the Kalyan Jeweler TV advertisement which featured Amitabh Bachchan and Manju Warrier. If reports are true, then A R Rahman will compose the music for this film, and the art direction will be done by Sabu Cyril.

The film will be released in two parts. The first part will feature the childhood of Pandavas, and the second part will have their later life. The second part of the film will be released 41 days after the first part.

Mohanlal will do the central character of Bheema in the movie. Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram will enact the role of Bhishma and Arjuna respectively. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will do the role of Draupati, and Nagarjuna will enact Yudishtira on the screen.

‘Ormayundo Ee Mugham’ hit the screens today

‘Ormayundo Ee Mugham’ directed by Anvar Sadik will hit the screens on 14th November 2014. The movie which has Vineeth Srinivasan and Namitha Pramod in the lead role, is expected to be a musical romantic movie which falls in the class of films like, ‘Thattathin Marayathu’.

The movie will also have some funny moments in it, and as per reports, it is tailor made to meet the needs and tastes of Malayali audience. Songs have huge prominence in this movie. The music for this film is composed by Shaan Rehman. Aju Varghese, Mukesh, Soumya, Rohini, Lakshmi, Idavela Babu, Raveendran, and Bhagath Manuel are also doing other prominent roles in this movie.

The script of the movie is penned by the director himself. Jithu Damodar has done cinematography for this film. The film is produced by Jaison Elamgulam under the banner of R J Creations.

Two other movies, ‘Vasanthathinte Kanal Vazhikal’ and ‘Oru Korean Padam’ are also hitting the theaters in Kerala on 14th November.

Manju Warrier to play a lawyer in Sathyan Anthikkadu movie

Manju Warrier, the lady Super Star in Malayalam Film Industry will play the role of a lawyer in the untitled Sathyan Anthikkadu movie. Mohanlal is playing the lead role in this movie, and this film will mark their rejoining after the much acclaimed movies like, ‘Kanmadham’ and ‘Summer in Bethlehem’. The shooting of the movie is going on in steady pace, and the film will have an early 2015 release.

Mohanlal plays the role of a journalist in the new movie, and his character is named, Vineeth Pillai. Manju will be doing the role of Deepa, a family court lawyer. The remaining star cast includes, Innocent, Lena, Reenu Mathews, and Gregory.

Ranjan Pramod has penned the screenplay for this movie. Neil D Cunha is handling the camera for this film. The film is produced by Antony perumbavoor in the banner of Ashirvad cinemas.

Manju Warrier’s last release, ‘How Old Are You’ was a huge hit in the Box Office, and things will be much bigger when she join hands with Universal Star in this new movie.

Dileep to act in Siddique-Lal movie

Siddique-Lal is undoubtedly one of the most versatile directing duos whom Malayalam Film Industry has ever witnessed. The magic partnership has produced some of the biggest hits in the industry which includes, ‘Ramji Rao Speaking’, ‘Hitler’, ‘In Harihar Nagar’, ‘Kabooliwala’ and ‘God Father’. Now, after a long hiatus, Siddique and Lal are again joining hands for a new movie which is titled ‘King Liar’. 

The movie will have none other than ‘Janapriyanayakan’ Dileep in the lead role, and as the title suggests, he will be the master of Liars in this movie. The story and script of the movie will be written by Siddique, and the film will be directed by Lal. Ouseppachen Vazhakkuzhi is producing this film. 

The movie is expected to be an in and out comedy feast just like other Siddique Lal movie. The movie is expected to go on floors soon, and it will have a mid 2015 release. More details regarding the cast and crew will get finalized in the coming weeks.

Earlier, it was the mysterious smile of ‘Raghavan’ which pulled the audience to a state of ecstacy, and now, it is ‘Venugopal’ who is providing some classic epitome of realistic acting. Yes, ‘Varsham’ hit the screens on November 7th 2014, and it is receiving rave reviews from all corners of the world. The movie had a wide release, and it was opened in more than 400 centers. If the initial reports are true, then this film is undoubtedly one of the finely crafted movies in 2014, which share space with ‘Apothecary’ and ‘Munnariyippu’. 

‘Varsham’ showcases the story of Venugopal and family. He lives with his wife and son in a very happy manner. Venugopal is running a finance business which is named after his son, ‘Anand Finance’. On one unfortunate day, the family faces the tragedy of their lifetime, and this forms the major crux of the movie. 

The soul and life of ‘Varsham’ is none other than Mammooty. He was living as ‘Venugopal’, and he literally drenched the theaters with tears in the first half. All the co actors did a decent job; let it be Asha Sharath or the child actor. Mammootty-Siddique movie named ‘Bhaskar: The Rascal’

Mammootty-Siddique combo which rocked the Mollywood Box Office with movies like, ‘Hitler’ and ‘Chronic Bachelor’ is joining again for a new project.  The movie was earlier named ‘Rascal’, but after a thorough discussion with the producers, Siddique has finalized the new name, ‘Bhaskar: The Rascal’. 

The film will be an in and out commercial entertainer, and it will have loads of humor elements in it. The shooting of this new movie will start soon, and everything goes well, the film will hit the screens in the first quarter of 2015. Mammootty is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Fireman’, and after wrapping up this film, he will join the sets of the Siddique movie. 

Mammootty’s latest release Varsham will hit the screens today, and it is expected to be a classic entertainer. The film is directed by Ranjith Shankar, and this is his next movie after the highly successful, ‘Punyalan Agarbathees’. Steady talks are going on to release this movie in Gulf countries, and recent developments are turning out to be positive in nature.
