'Rani Padmini' first schedule completed

'Rani Padmini' directed by Aashiq Abu is one of the most expected projects of the year. The film stars 'Lady Superstar' Manju Warrier and the director's wife Rima Kallingal in the lead roles. The shooting of the film started rolling last week, and the main location was Ottappaalam. As per recent reports, the first schedule shooting of this movie is completed, and the crew will be taking a small break before heading to the next schedule.

Aashiq Abu himself announced this news through his official Facebook page. “Done with Rani Padmini first schedule shoot. Thanks to the lovely people of Ottapalam”, posted Aashiq.

'Rani Padmini' is expected to be a travel movie, and it will showcase thejourney of two women. Himachal Pradesh and Delhi are other two locations of this movie.

Earlier, it was reported that a renowned Bollywood actor is doing a prominent role in this flick. Shine Tom Chacko, the young star who recently ran in to controversies will also do a pivotal role in 'Rani Padmini'.

Prithviraj and Mohanlal to act together

The wait is over, and if everything goes well, we can see our dearest stars Prithviraj and Mohanlal sharing screenspace in a new movie. As per credible reports, it has been almost confirmed that Prithviraj Sukumaran and Superstar Mohanlal will be working together in a new movie which will be directed by M Padmakumar.

Prithviraj has earlier worked together with Mammootty in 'Pokkiri Raja'. The film was a huge hit upon its release, and the same is expected from this new flick as well.

As per initial reports, the film has been titled, 'Kanal'. Suresh Babu has penned the script of the movie. Mohanlal, Suresh Babu and M Padmakumar has previously worked together in 'Shikaar' which was an average grosser.

'Kanal' is touted to be a revenge drama, and it will showcase the life of revenge filled people in Dubai. More details regarding the cast and crew of the film will be unleashed in the coming days.

'Little Superman 3D' releasing again on Vishu

Vinayan is a Mollywood director who always love to unleash a different route in movie making, and he has proved this peculiar capability through films like 'Albuthadweepu', 'Dracula 2012', 'Karumadukuttan' and 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum'. The filmmaker's latest release was 'Little Superman 3D' which hit the screens some months back.

The film received much pre release hype, but after the release, both critics and audiences panned the movie. Many people criticized the movie for its violent scenes. In one scene, the protagonist in the movie who is a small kid is seen shooting is father's murderer.

As per requests from various corners, Vinayan has reportedly re-shot these violent scenes, and he is planning to release the movie on this Vishu. Vinayan hopes that the film will fetch huge collections during the vacation season, as most of his audiences are kids and families.

The movie showcases the story of a young boy who gets super powers, and he is doing these powers to take revenge on his family's murderers. Deny and Baby Nayanthara have done the lead roles in the movie.

'She Taxi' shooting completed

'She Taxi', the movie which is being directed by Saji Surendran is one of the most expected projects of the year. The film stars Anoop Menon and Kavya Madhavan in the lead role, and it is touted to be a comedy entertainer just like Saji Surendran's previous flicks. The recent news about the movie is regarding the completion of its filming.

The shooting of the movie is wrapped up, and the makers are now busy with the post production works.

The script of the movie is penned by Krishna Pujapura. Kavya Madhavan does the role of a taxi driver in the movie.

Amal Neerad ties the knot with Jyothirmayi

Renowned Malayalam Film Director and Cinematographer Amal Neerad has tied the knot with actress Jyothirmayi on April 4th 2015. The marriage took place at a Registrar Office in Cochin. The event was blessed with the presence of close family members and friends of the couple.

This is the second marriage for Jyothirmayi. She was earlier married to Nishanth Kumar in 2004, and was later granted seperation on October 2011, after seven years of relationship.
