'Thira 2' details revealed

Vineeth Sreenivasan is a multi talented personality in Malayalam Film Industry. The young man has the capability to act, direct, sing and write, and he has proved his mettle an umpteen numbers of times in his career. The recent news about Vineeth is regarding his upcoming movie which will bea sequel to 'Thira'.

During the release of 'Thira', Vineeth has proclaimed that the film will be a trilogy, and two remaining parts of the movie will be gracing the big screens soon. As per reports, Shobhana will reprise her role as Rohini Pranab in this new movie as well. Dhyan Sreenivasan who played the lead role in the first part will not be there in the star cast of this movie.

'Thira' ended in a very interesting note where Rohini Pranab will get details about her husband's murderer. The sequel will unravel the mystery of her husband's death, and just like the prequel, this movie too will be loaded with umpteen numbers of adrenaline rushing moments. 

Actor Sathar arrested

Renowned actor Sathar has been arrested by the Varkala Police alleging fradulent dealings and cheating. As per reports, the case against Sathar is of forgery, and the complainants alleges that Sathar has amassed huge wealth in wrong ways. Sathar has previously run a direct marketing company named Info Vision, and this firm has misleaded many customers.

Many customers alleges that they lost money after they invest money in this company. The company was started in the year 2007, and after some initial days of functioning, he closed the company and left the place.

Summons has been sent to the actor three times, but he did not turn up for the case. And finally, Police arrested him from his house at Kodungalloor. The actor has been remanded under Police custody.

Sathar was once the most demanded actors in the industry during the 1980s. Post 2010, he made a comeback by acting in a very different role in '22 Female Kottayam'.

Kavya Madhavan becomes a business woman

The career life span of Malayalam Film Actresses are very low when compared to Malayalam actors, and most of the ravishing beauties used to vanish from limelight after their thirties. Lissy planning to publish her life stories

Lissy was once the most demanded heroines in Malayalam Film Industry. The actress has acted with almost all big stars in Mollywood till her marriage with Priyadarshan. Recently, after 23 years of marriage,Lissy got seperated from Priyan. Post her divorce, the actress is all set to publish her life stories in one of the leading Malayalam magazines.

In every edition of this magazine, the actress will publish her various experiences about people and places. After completing the writing, Lissyalso plans to publish the collated version as a book.

Earlier, many sources claimed that Lissy traveled through Himalayas after her divorce. Some other sources confirmed that Lissy has started learning Kalari to manage her mental and physical health. Lissy too posted a small write up about 'Kalari' in her official social media page.

Manjima Mohan to act in a Gautham Menon movie

Manjima Mohan was one of the most demanded child actors in the industry during the first decade of the 21st century. Now, things have changed, and the cute actress has evolved herself as a solo heroine in the recent blockbuster, 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie' which starred Nivin Pauly in the lead role. The recent news about Manjima is regarding her Tamil debut. 

As per official reports, Manjima Mohan is all set to share screen space with the Little Superstar in Tamil Industry, Silambarasan. This movie is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and it is being titled, 'acham enbathu madamaiyada'. The film is expected to be a romantic road movie. Telugu star Rana Daggubati is doing a pivotal cameo in the flick. 

Earlier, Pallavi Subhash has been casted to do this role. But the North Indian actress walked out of the project citing date clashes. From then, Gautham Vasudev Menon has been looking for a suitable face to do this role, and now, he has finally zeroed on Manjima. 

Talents of Superstars are getting wasted: Urvashi

Urvashi, the National Award winning actress is undoubtedly one of the most versatile performers in modern day South Indian Cinema. For the past four or five years, the actress is not getting variety roles which are capable to test her skills from Malayalam Industry. In a recent interview given to an online portal, Urvashi told that even Superstars like Mohanlal and Mammootty are getting stereotyped characters.

“Mammootty and Mohanlal, two of the most talented actors in the modern day Malayalam Cinema are getting sterotyped characters. And as a result, I am not surprised about the lack of opportunities given to me. Actually, I am staying away from Malayalam Industry due to the lack of challenging roles”, said Urvashi.

Urvashi also added that the talents of Mammootty and Mohanlal are not getting tapped properly.

The actress' latest release was 'Uttama Villain' which featured none other than Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Urvashi portrayed the role of Kamal Haasan's wife in the movie, and it was well received by both audiences and critics.

Mohanlal takes a small lesiure break

Legendary actor Mohanlal is one of the biggest crowd pullers in the Malayalam Film Industry. The Superstar is now awaiting the release of his new flick, 'Lailaa O' Lailaa' directed by ace director Joshy. He has also reportedly completed the filming of 'Loham' directed by Ranjith. As per recent reports, he has taken a small gap from movies, and is planning to enjoy some moments with the family.

He will soon travel to Sabarimala, and later, he will move to Japan for some days with his wife and kids. The actor will also treat his issue of Spondylitis during the Japanese trip.

After completing the treatment, Mohanlal will join the sets of 'Kanal'which will be directed by M Padmakumar. Mohanlal and Padmakumarhas previously worked together in 'Shikkar'. The movie was well received upon its release, and it succeeded in ringing the money bells in theaters.

'Lailaa O'Lailaa' is all set to hit the screens on May 14, 2015. The film has Amala Paul in the role of heroine. The movie is touted to be an in and out action thriller.

Asif Ali joins the star cast of 'Amar Akbar Anthony'

'Amar Akbar Anthony' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran and Jayasurya in the lead roles. The recent news from the corner is regarding the inclusion of Asif Ali in the star cast. As per reports, the makers of the movie has roped Asif Ali to do a cameo role in the movie.

'Amar Akbar Anthony' is expected to be an in and out entertainer with lots of comedy loaded in it. Nadir Shah is making his directorial debut through this movie. Namitha Pramod, the sweet doll in Malayalam Film Industry will appear in the role of a dancer in this flick.

Suresh Gopi and Shaji Kailas join hands for a political thriller

Suresh Gopi and Shaji Kailas are the two fire brand products in Mollywood, and they have mesmerized the audience an umpteen numbers of times through their movies like, 'Commissioner', 'Bharath Chandran IPS', 'Ekalavyan' etc. Their last outing together was 'King and the Commissioner'. The recent news about the duo is regarding a new movie which will mark the reunion of Shaji Kailas and Suresh Gopi. The news has been confirmed by Shaji Kailas himself in a recent talk.

Earlier, many reports surfaced in the online portals stating that the duo is working in a movie which is based on the solar scam. But director Shaji Kailas rubbished this, and he added that their new project has nothing to do with Solar issue.

Shaji Kailas's upcoming release is in Tamil. The movie is titled, 'Vyghai Express', and it is the direct remake of 'Naadiya Kollappetta Raathri'.

Vipin Atley to direct a new movie

Vipin Atley is not a new name for Mollywood audience. The curly young man has already been shot to limelight with his role in the acclaimed movie, 'Homely meals'. Mammootty again joins hands with Jewel Mary

Jewel Mary, better known as the ex anchor of popular Malayalam Reality show D 4 Dance is one of the most popular figure in the entertainment industry. She made her acting debut through the film'Pathemari' which is directed by Salim Ahmed. The film featuresMammootty in the lead role, and it will hit the screens within a month. The recent news about the actress is regarding her new flick she has signed recently.

This movie too has the mega star in the lead role, and it will be directed by veteran film maker, Kamal. The film is now titled 'Utopiale Rajavu'. Apart from Mammootty and Jewel, the film also has Joy Mathew, Nandu, Sunil Sugatha, and Pashanam Shaji in other prominent roles.
