Nayantara, the star actress is reportedly playing a cameo role in the Tamil remake of the blockbuster roaring hit film, Bangalore Days which was directed by Anjali Menon.
Reportedly, She will be reprising the character played by Nithya Menon in the original. Manorama online reports that the Tamil remake of Bangalore Days has been titled as Arjun, Divya Matrum Karthik. The team is yet to confirm Nayatara's entry into the star cast officially. The movie is directed by Bommarillu fame Bhaskar. Rana Daggubati, Arya, Bobby Simha and Sri Divya will be playing the roles played by Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the original. Parvathy Menon will reprise her role RJ Sarah in the remake as well.
Earlier, it was reported that Nithya Menon will be reprising her role Natasha from the original in the Tamil remake. But according to the sources close to the actress, she was not approached for the role. Being one of the most sought after actress of South Indian Cinema, Nayantara already has a hand full of promising projects in her kitty. She last appeared in Malayalam, in the Siddique directed Bhaskar The Rascal. Reportedly, Nayantara will be reprising her role in the Tamil and Bollywood remakes of Bhaskar The Rascal. Superstar Rajinikanth or Ajith Kumar will be playing the title character Bhaskar in the remake.
