The annual general body meeting of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Actors) has decided to raise fund for the production of serial. This is to help the veteran actors who are not now active in the movie industry and also to get fund for association activities. This decision has been taken in the recently held general body meeting in Kochi.
AMMA is planning to associate with FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala) for serial production. For this purpose they will be organising a stage show together. This has been revealed by the AMMA President Innocent in a press meet held. The discussion with the FEFKA office bearers will be held soon. Presently AMMA is giving pension to around 105 artists and are spending around 50 lakh yearly for pension alone.
The new office bearers of AMMA were also present in the meeting held on 28th June 2015. The AMMA General Body is the decision making body of AMMA. They meet annually or in case of special circumstances. Mohanlal and K B Ganesh Kumar are the Vice Presidents of the body, whereas Mammootty is the General Secretary. Idavela Babu is the secretary and Dileep is the treasurer.
