'Vellimoonga' to get a Tamil remake

Sundar C is one of those rare personalities in Tamil Film Industry who is blessed with multi talented skills. The acclaimed director has proved himself as a bankable actor, and he has proved his mettle through movies like, 'Thalai Nagaram', 'Aranmanai' and 'Murattu Kalai'. The recent news about Sundar C is regarding his new film which will be a remake of a Malayalam movie. 

As per reports, Sundar C has bought the remake rights of 'Vellimoonga' directed by Jibu Jacob. The movie was a huge hit in 2014, and it affixed Biju Menon's solo hero spot in the movie. Sundar C will enact the role of Biju Menon in the film. 

Nikki Galrani portrayed the role of lady lead in the original. 

Sundar C's latest release Aranmanai was a hit in the Box Office. Sundar C played a crucial role in the movie, but all the applause went to lead actresses Andreah Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi and Hansika Motwani. 

Meanwhile, Sundar C has reportedly bought the remake rights of another Malayalam movie, 'Pandippada' which featured Dileep and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. 

Anoop Menon penning script for Priyadarshan

Anoop Menon is a multi talented personality in Malayalam Film Industry. The actor who is considered as the face of new generation movie making has already proved his mettle in various areas of film making like acting, script writing and song writing. The recent news about Anoop Menon is regarding his new writing assignment for a Priyadarshan movie. 

Anoop Menon will soon write script for a Priyadarshan directorial. The news has been confirmed by the actor himself through his official social media page. “Priyadarshan...we as a generation was fed on his films...a master of the craft, the moments spent with him were replete with anecdotes and sheer movie magic...will be soon writing for the maverick...”, wrote Anoop Menon. 

Anoop Menon has previously acted in a Priyadarshan movie, 'Aamayum Muyalum' which had its release last year. The movie was panned by critics, and it emerged as a disaster in Box Office. 

Anoop Menon is currently awaiting the release of his movies, 'Puluvan Mathai' and 'She Taxi'. 

Mammootty to act in a Tamil movie

Mammootty, the Mega Star of Mollywood is one of the most versatile actors in the Indian Film Industry. The actor has made his presence in Bollywood and Kollywood, and he has a reasonable fan following in all the corners of the nation too. The recent news about the star is regarding his new Tamil movie which will be directed by Ram. 

Ram is an acclaimed filmmaker who has won the National Award for the Best Feature Film in Tamil for his movie, 'Thanga Meengal'. 

This news has been confirmed by the director himself. As per reports, the shooting of the movie will start soon, and it will have a late 2015 release. 

The music of this untitled project will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. More details regarding the cast and crew of the film will be unleashed in the coming days. 

Mammootty's latest release 'Fireman' is receiving positive reviews from all corners, and the movie is slowly heading towards the hit status. He is now busy with the shooting of 'Bhaskar: The Rascal' which is being directed by Siddique.

Jomon T John is all set to direct a movie

Biju Menon again joining hands with Shajoon Kariyal?

Shajoon Kariyal, debuted in the film Industry through the 1996 film, 'Rajaputhran'. The movie was a huge success upon its release, and it fetched him a top spot in the fraternity during that time. But the director failed to maintain this momentum in his career, and in the course of time, he ended up as an average director with nothing big to boast about. 

The director's last film was 'Chettayees' which got released in 2012. The film starred Biju Menon and Lal in the lead roles, and was an average success in the Box Office. The recent news about the director is regarding his new movie which he will be starting soon. 

As per reports, Biju Menon will be doing the lead role in this movie. The film is touted to be a comedy entertainer, and it will have all the elements demanded to meet the needs of a common moviegoer. 

Biju Menon is currently busy with the shooting of 'Madhura Naranga' directed by Sugeeth. Kunchakko Boban is also playing a pivotal role in this movie. 

Fireman to hit the screens on February 19

After days of anxious wait, Mammootty's most expected film of the year, 'Fireman' will make its way to the theaters on February 19th, 2015. The movie was earlier scheduled for last week release, but due to various reasons, it was postponed. 

Mammootty enacts the role of a daring firefighter in the movie. Young actor Unni Mukundan will also be doing a pivotal role in this film. Nyla Usha is the heroine in this movie, and she will portray the character of a dashing woman IPS Officer. 

'Fireman' showcases the story of a fire outbreak in the city, and the rescue operations that follow. The movie is expected to showcase the happenings in that city on that particular day of mishap. 

Milan Jaleel who has produced many successful Mammootty movies in the past is producing 'Fireman'. 

Mammootty's latest release 'Varsham' was a critical and commercial acclaim. The film succeeded in satisfying all kinds of audiences, and the same is expected from 'Fireman' as well. 

'Ordinary' team is back again

'Ordinary', the 2012 Malayalam Comedy film which starred Kunchakko Boban and Biju Menon in the lead roles was the 'Blockbuster' of the year, and it garnered both critical and commercial appreciation upon its release. The film was directed by Sugeeth. Later, in 2013, the trio again joined hands for another movie, '3 Dots'. But unlike 'Ordinary', this movie was just an average grosser in the Box Office. Now, the popular team is back again for a new movie which is titled 'Madhura Naranga'.

The movie will mark the acting debut of yesteryear actor Ratheesh's daughter Parvathy. She will be doing the female lead in this movie.

As per reports, Biju Menon and Kunchakko Boban are doing the roles of Dubai Taxi drivers in this movie. 'Madhura Naranga' will be shot exclusively in Dubai. The supporting star cast of the movie includes, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Neeraj Madhav, Saddique, and Niyaz Becker.
