The much anticipated movie from Mammootty-Renjith duo, 'Leela' was heard to be out of the cards, and many sources claimed that the movie will not happen in the near future. But the latest news about the film is highly encouraging, and reports confirms that Renjith has not dropped the project. Renjith will produce the movie under the banner of Capitol Theaters, and this news has spread a wave of happiness among people who love uncompromising cinemas.
Renjith is currently working hard to complete the script of this movie. Mammootty will play the lead role of Kuttiyappan, and Rima Kallingal will play the title character, Leela. Kuttiyappan has a very weird concept and dream of inter coursing a lady in the tusks of an elephant, and he searches to find an intimate partner who is ready for this adventure ride.
The movie will be based on the novel of the same name written by R Unni. Apart from Mammootty and Rima, Lalu Alex, Suresh Krishna, and Kottayam Nazeer will also do prominent roles in the film. Ace director Shyamaprasad will turn music director in this movie.
