'Jilebi' is coming

Jayasurya, the young Malayalam actor who started his career as a Junior artist is now one of the most valuable stars in the industry. He has delivered umpteen numbers of commercial hits in his career, and for the past three to four years, and he is been quite selective in choosing roles. The recent news about the actor is regarding his new movie which is titled, 'Jilebi'. 

The film is being directed by Ad Filmmaker Arun Sekhar, and it is expected to be a comedy entertainer. Remya Nambeesan is doing the role of heroine in the film. Neeraj Madhav, Dharmajan, Vijayaraghavan, and Joju George are doing other prominent roles. 

The shooting of the film is now going on in steady pace in Thrissur. Vadakkencherry, a small village town in Palakkad district is also another major location of the film. 'Jilebi' is produced by East Coast Vijayan. Alby is the cinematographer while Deepak Dev has composed the music.

Kunchako Boban to act in Rajesh Pillai’s next movie

Kunchako Boban, the heartthrob of Mollywood entered the Film industry in 1997 by ‘Aniyathipravu’ and he is now one of the busiest actors in the industry. The recent news about the actor is regarding a new film in which he will do the lead role. This film will directed by Rajesh Pillai.
Kunchako Boban and Rajesh Pillai have worked together in two movies, ‘Hridayathil Sookshikkan’ and ‘Traffic’. The news about their third film has set a huge wave of happiness among Kunchako Boban fans.
The title of the film is not yet decided but it is expected to be a feel good entertainer from Rajesh Pillai after his recent box office hits like ‘Traffic’ and ‘Mili’. The movie is being scripted by Arunlal and it will be produced by Aashiq Usman under the banner of Milestone Cinemas. Dileep’s new movie titled

Dileep, the 47 old actor who is still considered as a boy next door by Malayali audience is gearing up with his next film which will be directed by Sreebala K Menon. Sreebala who was an assistant with acclaimed filmmaker Sathyan Anthikkadu is making her directorial debut through this movie. The recent news from the corner is regarding the finalization of title of this film. 

As per recent reports, this new movie has been titled ‘Love 24x7’. The movie will showcase a heart touching love story in the backdrop of a media house. Dileep is reportedly doing the role of a journalist in the movie. 

Apart from Dileep, Midhila, Suhasini Maniratnam, Lena, Sasi Kumar and Shankar Ramakrishnan are also doing pivotal roles in the movie. The movie will be exclusively shot in and around Thiruvananthapuram. 

Dileep himself is producing this movie in the banner of Grand Productions. E 4 Entertainment’s Mukesh Mehta is co producing this film.

Ranjith Sankar’s new film titled, ‘Made for Each other’

Ranjith Sankar, one of the most aspiring filmmakers in Mollywood is gearing up with his next film which is titled, ‘Made for Each Other’. The director revealed the news through his official Facebook page, and the news has set a huge wave of happiness among fans and admirers of the film maker.

Other details of the movie are yet to get revealed. However, this new movie is also expected to feature a leading actor in Mollywood in the central character. The director just posted a first look poster of the movie in his official page, and he has captioned it ‘The Next’.

Ranjith Sankar is known for making movies with uncompromising cinematic language and finesse. His debut movie ‘Passenger’ kick started the new generation wave in the industry. His other movies include, ‘Molly Aunty Rocks’, ‘Arjunan Sakshi’ and ‘Punyalan Agarbathees’. His recent release ‘Varsham’ which starred Mammootty in the lead role was a critical and commercial success.


Shakkeela dropped from Dilip movie

Shakkeela was once the most seducing lady in the Mollywood, and she has delivered umpteen numbers of B grade films which set the industry on fire during 1990s. Recently, it was reported that Shakkeela is has been roped in for a new movie which is being directed by Sreebala K Menon. The film have none other than Janapriyanayakan Dileep in the lead role.

But as per latest updates, it has been almost confirmed that Shakkeela has been expelled from the star cast of the movie. Like we reported earlier, Santhosh Pandit will be doing a funny cameo in the film.

Midhila is playing the role of female lead, while Sasikumar and Suhasini are doing other prominent roles.

Dileep is currently awaiting the release of 'Ivan Maryadharaman'. The film is a remake of Telugu flick, 'Maryadha Ramanna' which was a mass masala comedy entertainer.

Lena makes her Bollywood debut


Lena, the versatile actress in Mollywood is widely considered as an inevitable ingredient in Modern day Malayalam cinema. The actress has proved her mettle through her roles in movies like, 'Ee Adutha Kalathu', 'Traffic' and 'Spirit' is now gearing up with her first Bollywood film.

Lena is now busy with the works of her debut Bollywood film 'Airlift' in which Akshay Kumar has been roped to do the lead role. The actress posted her photo along with Akshay in her official Facebook page. “With Akshay Kumar from the location of 'Airlift', my first Bollywood film”Lena captioned the image.

'Airlift' is being directed by Raja Krishna Menon. The movie showcases the story of a wealthy businessman who safely brings some Indians to home when Saddam Hussain invades Kuwait. Akshay Kumar plays the role of this wealthy businessman. Lena is reportedly playing a crucial role in the film, and it will have direct impacts in determining the story flow.

The shooting of the film is going on in steady pace. The film is expected to hit the theaters by 2016.

'Ennum Eppozhum' trailer released


After days of anxious wait, the trailer of 'Ennum Eppozhum' directed by Sathyan Anthikkadu has been released. The movie is quite special for Kerala audience, as it marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier after a gap of 16 years.

The film is directed by Sathyan AnthikkaduSathyan Anthikkadu and Mohanlal have delivered some notable hits in the past which includes, 'Nadodikkattu', 'Varavelpu' and 'Rasathandram'Ranjan Pramod has penned the script for 'Ennum Eppozhum'.

Manju Warrier does the role of an advocate in this movie, while Mohanlal enacts the role of a media personal who works in a women magazine. Innocent, Lena, Gregory, and Reenu Mathews have also done prominent roles in the movie.

The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Ashirvad Films.

Nithya Menon to act in 'Queen' remake

'Queen', the 2014 Bollywood movie which starred Kangana Ranaut in the lead role was a critical and commercial success. The movie garnered highly positive reviews upon its release, and the performance of Kangana received praises from all corners. The recent news from the corner is regarding its possible remake in three languages.

As per credible reports, 'Queen' is soon going to get its remakes in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The remake rights of this movie has been bought by veteran actor ThyagarajanNithya Menon has reportedly given a positive nod to act in the remakes, and she has demanded two crore INR for her role.

Nithya Menon is currently awaiting the release of two movies, 'O K Kanmani' and '100 Days of Love'. 'O K Kanmani' is directed by none other than the most versatile filmmaker in the country, Mani RatnamDulquer Salmaan is doing the role of male lead in this movie. 'Mozart of Madras' A R Rahman has composed the music, while P C Sreeram has handled the cinematography.

'100 Days of Love' is crafted by debutante Jenuse Mohammed. This movie too has Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, and it is expected to be an in and out romantic entertainer.

Siddique to make a movie with 'Thala' Ajith

Siddique, the hit maker in Malayalam Film Industry is a well known name in Kollywood and Bollywood. Rimi Tomy turns heroine

After loudly proclaiming her presence in the small screen, singer – anchor Rimi Tomy is now all set to mark her signature in the silver screen. The chubby singer is reportedly doing the role of heroine in a new movie which is titled, 'Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare'. The film has none other than Evergreen star Jayaram in the lead role.

Kannan Thamarakulam is directing this movie. The film is touted to be an in and out comedy entertainer, and it will have all the elements demanded to satisfy the needs of a common moviegoer. 'Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare' will showcase the life of Jayadevan, a TV serial director. Shakeela and Santhosh Pandit to share screen space with Dileep


As per credible reports, Shakeela and Santhosh Pandit may share screen space with Dileep in a new movie which will be directed by Sreebala K Menon. Sreebala was an associate of ace director Sathyan Anthikkadu, and this movie will mark her directorial debut.

The script of the movie is penned by the director herself. The title of the movie will get unleashed in the coming days.

'Drishyam' directed by Jeethu Joseph is undoubtedly one of the most successful movies in the history of Malayalam Cinema. Mammootty to have two heroines



Mammootty, the Malayalam Mega Star is leading a very busy schedule even though he is running through his 64th year. The ace actor is now busy with the shooting of 'Bhaskar: The Rascal' which is being directed by Siddique. In the meantime, he is also gearing up with a new Tamil film.

This new movie will be directed by National Award winning filmmaker, Ram. The movie is expected to start rolling soon, and as per latest updates, this film will have two heroines. Official sources confirm that Andreah Jeremiah and Anjali will do the role of female leads in this movie.
