‘Life of Josootty’ shooting wrapped up

Jeethu Joseph is now considered as one of the most valuable filmmakers in South Indian Film Industry. Through his movies like, Memories, Papanasam and Drishyam, he has conquered a million hearts, and audiences all over South are eagerly waiting for his next flick. 

Jeethu Joseph has been busy with the filming of ‘Life of Josootty’ for the past couple of months. As per latest updates, the shooting of the movie is completed, and is gearing up for a theatrical release. 

The first schedule of the movie was filmed in Idukki, while the second schedule was shot exclusively in New Zealand. Dileep is doing the lead role in this movie. The movie will showcase the life of the lead character played by Dileep from his 08th – 38th year. 

A theatrical trailer of the movie was released recently, and it is getting positive reviews from all corners. 

Suraj Venjarammoodu, Hareesh Peradi, Chemban Vinod, Chembil Asokan, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Noby and Vijayakumari are doing other supporting roles in this movie.

Memories to get a Tamil remake?

‘Memories’ directed by Jeethu Joseph is widely considered as one of the most finely crafted thriller movies ever made in Malayalam Industry. The movie showcased the life of an alcoholic police officer who is hunting a serial killer. The recent news about the flick is regarding a possible Tamil remake which will go on floors soon. 

As per reports, young Tamil actor Arulnidhi will do the lead role in this movie. Prithviraj Sukumaran has enacted the key role in the Malayalam version. 

Arivazhagan, who made movies like ‘Eeram’ will direct this flick. More details regarding the cast and crew of the movie will be unleashed in the coming days. 

According to credible sources, the pre production works of the movie have already been begun. The shooting of the film will begin by October.

Bollywood 'Drishyam' to start rolling soon

'Drishyam' directed by Jeethu Joseph is undoubtedly one of the most successful movies in the history of Malayalam Cinema. The movie starred Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles, while Asha Sharath and Siddique did supporting roles. The film impressed eminent personalities in various film industries, and it compelled them to craft remake of this movie in their languages. 

The Tamil version of this movie is getting ready with Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The film is titled 'Papanasam', and it is being directed by Jeethu Joseph himself. The Telugu version stars Venkatesh in the lead, while the Kannada movie which is already released had Crazy star Ravichandran in vital role. 

The recent news about the movie is regarding its Bollywood remake. This new film will be directed by Nishikanth Kamat and it is being produced by Kumar Mangat. The film has Ajay Devgan in the lead role. Shriya Sharan will do the role of heroine in this upcoming movie. Tabu is reportedly playing the role of a Police Officer in this film. 

The shooting of the movie will start soon in Goa.

Jeethu Joseph to join hands with Mohanlal again

‘Drishyam’ directed by Jeethu Joseph which starred Mohanlal in the lead role is the biggest hit in the history of Malayalam Cinema. The director is now busy with the shooting of ‘Life of Josooty’ with Dileep playing the title character. In the meantime, Jeethu has also completed ‘Papanasam’, the Tamil remake of ‘Drishyam’ with Kamal Haasan in the lead. The recent news about the filmmaker is regarding a new movie in which he will again join hands with ‘Universal Star’ Mohanlal.

The news is almost confirmed, and the director is quite busy to finalize the remaining cast for the movie.

This new movie will be special in some other means as well. Pranav Mohanlal, Mohanlal’s son is currently working as an assistant director with Jeethu Joseph. The industry is keenly waiting to see whether he will do the same job in this new Mohanlal movie.

The shooting of ‘Papanasam’ is completed, and post production works are going on in a steady pace. The film is touted to be the direct remake of Drishyam. However, some changes has been made to suit the tastes of Tamil audiences.
