Gautham Menon says Suriya's approach towards his project pained him

Ace director Gautham Menon recently had the bitter experience of his two big projects getting shelved due to the cold attitude of two senior stars Suriya and Vijay. Gautham Menon says that Vijay's withdrawal from his project didnt pain him as they are not personally very close.But he says that the parting of ways with his close friend Suriya affected him deeply.Gautham Menon had planned Dhruvanatchathiram with Suriya and Mohan Adhyayam Onru with Vijay. The Vijay project was conceived on the lines of a James Bond film and since he might not have been convinced about the project he opted out according to Gautham Menon. 

But in Suriya's case he withdrew although he gave fifty percent of the script. This pained him immensely says Gautham.

Loham actress Niranjana to romance Suresh Gopi’s son

‘Loham’, the movie which stars Mohanlal in the lead role hit the theaters on last Friday. The Ranjith directorial has reportedly collected nearly 5 Crore INR within three days of its release. Niranjana Anoop, the young actress made a memorable debut through this movie, and her performance was well received by both critics and audiences. 

The recent news about the young girl is regarding her role in the new movie ‘Muthugau’. The film will have Gokul Suresh in the role of male lead. The young man is none other than the son of Superstar Suresh Gopi. Gokul has completed his graduation from Bangalore, Christ and he is now planning to affirm his spot in the industry.

Prithviraj’s new movie title confirmed

‘Premam’ will soon speak Tamil

‘Premam’, the movie directed by Alphonse Puthran is undoubtedly the biggest hits of the year. The film has already grossed more than 40 Crore INR in the theaters, and it is still spinning the money strongly in theaters amidst of the piracy row. News about a possible Tamil remake of ‘Premam’ has been fluttering in the internet from the moment the movie achieved the hit status.

Now, it has been officially confirmed that ‘Premam’ will speak Tamil in the near future. As per credible reports, Studio Green has acquired the remake rights of ‘Premam’. They are now searching an appropriate director and actor to make this movie a memorable experience.

Some days back, Studio Green had talked with Gautham Vasudev Menon to direct this flick. But Gautham Menon turned down this offer, stating that this film will draw comparisons with ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’.

The production house wishes to cast Dhanush or Suriya to play the lead role in the movie.

Nithya Menon Pairs up With Surya in ‘24’

Actress Nithya Menon has joined the cast of upcoming Tamil Thriller ‘24’. Nithya, who has recently featured heroine for Manirathnam’sromantic drama is now pairing up with Surya for the first time in her career. The film ‘24’ will also feature actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. 

Nithya plays a pivotal role in the film in which Surya appears in double role. The film is directed by Vikram Kumar under Surya’s 2DEntertainment Productions. Oscar winner A. R Rahman will compose music for the film and as per close sources the filming of the movie has been started in Mumbai.

National award winner Suresh Gopi,popular actor Jayaram and ace dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi will feature in a drama written by hugely adored late filmmaker and writer P.Padmarajan. The drama Akale Akale Aashwasam penned by Padmarajan in 1968 will be telecast as part of the Radio drama fest of the All India Radio.The drama will be telecast on August 2 .Padmarajan himself gave voice to the protagonist when this drama was originally played.

This time around it will be Jayaram who will give voice to the lead role.Nedumudi Venu will enact the role of the father of the mentally imbalanced protagonist.Suresh Gopi will give voice to the doctor who treats the protagonist,while Bhagyalakshmi will appear as the wife of the doctor.Yadhu Nandan,Nandakumar etc.are also part of the cast.
